Each tea in this collection boasts a unique flavour and every teabag is carefully calibrated for a cup of tea before being hand packed and sealed in individual kraft sachets delivering convenience and freshness in every brew.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

1 teabag

250 - 300 ml of water

90 - 100 °C 

Steep up to 5 minutes or till cool enough

Top up with warm water till too light for palate

BAOZHONG / 包种茶

(LIGHT OOLONG)

Delicately handrolled and lightly roasted, this is the lightest oolong here at The Teh Company which exhibits subtle floral fragrances and chestnut notes.

Best brewed at 85 - 90 °C

ALISHAN ZHULU / 阿里山珠露

(LIGHT OOLONG)

Cultivated at high altitudes in mountain mist year round, these robust tea leaves are oxidised and pan roasted exhibiting lingering orchid fragrances and cheeky butter notes.

Best brewed at 90 °C

DONG DING / 冻顶

(MEDIUM OOLONG) 

Thriving in a temperate monsoon climate, these tea leaves absorb optimal amounts of nutrients and, under the masterful roast of our tea artisans, develop a well balanced profile of roast, flowers and honey.

Best brewed at 95 °C

This classic oolong is produced under strong roast and oxidation and promises to excite the palate with its layered complexity of stone fruits, flowers and spice.

MUZHA TIEGUANYIN / 木栅铁观音

(MEDIUM - HEAVY OOLONG)

​Under the masterful roast of our tea artisan, the Liu Ji Xiang exhibits similar body to our Muzha Tieguanyin with an additional layer of smoothness on top of bold stone fruit notes.

LIU JI XIANG / 六季香

(HEAVY OOLONG)

AGED DONG DING / 陈年冻顶

(AGED OOLONG)

The flavourful profile of roast and flowers ages with time and repeated roasting yielding a woody, smooth liquor with notes of chocolate. Aged for 15 years, this aged oolong is now ready to be enjoyed.​

ORIENTAL BEAUTY / 东方美人 

(HEAVY OOLONG)

The Oriental Beauty is an organic tea that can only be produced with tea leaves that have been bitten by the leaf hopper insect which enzymes facilitates the break down of a component in the leaves, imparting exceptional honey and stone fruit notes. A true beauty of a tea.

RED ALISHAN ZHULU / 红珠露 

(BLACK TEA)

The Alishan Zhulu is fully oxidised under the meticulous eye of our tea artisans retaining the strong floral notes of the Alishan Zhulu and also sweet, honey liquor characteristic of a black tea.

HONG YUN / 红韵 

(BLACK TEA)

A tea unique to Taiwan, this tea is a hybrid of Indian and Chinese Keemun seedling and possesses the quality of both its parents - Indian (malty) and dried fruits (Keemun), promising a strong, delightful scent when brewed.

Best brewed at 100 °C

RED JADE / 红玉 

(BLACK TEA)

Nicknamed the Scent of Taiwan, this tea is a cross breed of Taiwanese and Burmese tea seedlings. Fully oxidised and medium roasted, the Red Jade exhibits a bold spicy notes of peppermint and cloves.
